The project is designed for diners, families, and social communities, keeping interaction, comfort, and cultural immersion at the core of the design process. Conceived as a restaurant space, the project blends traditional artistic narratives with modern spatial planning to create an experience that is both educational and emotionally engaging. The design approach focuses on functionality, storytelling, user engagement, and cultural identity, ensuring that the outcome is both aesthetically meaningful and practical. Through research into Warli art and the agricultural cycle represented within tribal storytelling traditions, the project identifies the importance of preserving indigenous narratives in contemporary public spaces. Materials such as wood, earthy textures, and neutral-toned finishes,
along with techniques including graphic wall installations, patterned flooring, interactive digital integration, and thematic spatial zoning, were chosen to achieve warmth, authenticity, and visual continuity.
Visually, the project is defined by geometric Warli motifs, earthy colour palettes, handcrafted textures, and rhythmic spatial compositions that reflect the harmony between humans, nature, and community life. The final outcome, a culturally immersive restaurant space, embodies storytelling, sustainability, and togetherness while seeking to provide users with a meaningful and memorable dining experience.Through this project, the designer aims to highlight how traditional tribal art can evolve within modern interior spaces, positioning design as a tool for cultural preservation, education, and social interaction. Ultimately, “Circles of Stories” stands as a reflection of heritage woven into contemporary experiences, where art, agriculture, and community come together to create spaces filled with connection and narrative.
